Erin Cooperrider is an experienced housing developer, having successfully completed many new construction and acquisition/rehabilitation projects in Maine. She joined NewHeight group in 2015 and manages project design, permitting, financing, and construction. Previously, Erin served 17 years as Development Director for Community Housing of Maine (CHOM), a statewide affordable housing developer, helping to grow the organization’s asset base from $5 million to more than $100 million using low income housing tax credits, state and federal historic tax credits, grants, loans, and private equity.
Erin currently chairs the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston’s Advisory Council, and serves on the board of directors of 30 FSI, a subsidiary of CEI, Inc., a state historic tax credit investor, and Maine’s Commission to Increase Housing Opportunities in Maine by Studying Zoning and Land Use Restrictions. Erin previously chaired the board of directors of two Community Development Financial Institutions. She earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University and her graduate degree from Stanford University.
